Skip to the contentPsychotherapy provides a supportive and confidential space in which you can explore how you feel, think, and behave with a professional who listens deeply to what you have to say. There are lots of different sorts of psychotherapy and counselling. It is important to think about what you need and what you think will work for you.
I qualified as a psychotherapist in 1999 and continue to update my knowledge and skills through professional development activities. In recent years I have completed training in Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy, Online and Telephone Counselling, Somatic Trauma Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I am an experienced and kind therapist committed to supporting you to explore, question, and at times, challenge, yourself to change in ways that work for you. I work within my professional bodies ethical guidelines which you can access through the PBANZ website.

Their past.
Their identity.
Their mental and/or physical health.
Their relationships.
Their choices.
I work in an integrated way which means I use different approaches to work in a way that is unique to you.
Examples of things we might explore together are:
How you think and feel about yourself.
How you interact with those around you.
Looking back can support you to move forward.
Exploring how you experience and express your emotions.
What works and what doesn’t work for you.
What you can change and what you can’t.
How power operates in your life. What are your choices?
The death of loved ones or other life events.
Empowering yourself to get past your past.
Finding the right support—or the right partner for clinical supervision—is an important step. To protect this space from automated spam, I do not use a website contact form. Instead, you are welcome to reach out to me directly by email.

Our Connection
My practice is grounded in respect for all people. I value and welcome individuals from all backgrounds. It is the relationship, it is the relationship, it is the relationship that heals and supports others to empower themselves to "live well now" or "work well now."
